WENA 2026 Traffic Calming Proposal
Description
A temporary art application to paint a roughly 500-square-foot sage-colored circular graphic in the street intersection, with images of a family, students, a dog walker, and a bicyclist, plus nearby bollards, to slow traffic. It would be installed in June and removed by November 30, 2026.
Impact summary
Aims to slow drivers and make the busy four-way stop safer for families, students, a crossing guard, and cyclists; the paint wears away naturally and bollards come down each November.
