St. Paul's Rectory Alterations

The church treasurer spoke in support, adding history that the Gothic design deliberately echoes the twelfth-century St. Paul's Cathedral in London, and said full-height columns are consistent with that heritage.

Greater Portland Landmarks' advocacy director said the knee wall isn't original or character-defining, and safety and function outweigh rebuilding it.
